My Painting and Decorating journey originally started in 1996 whilst completing little jobs around the home. There wasn’t any internet back then, so I learnt by trial and error, asking questions and reading books.

I went on to complete a Diploma in Interior Design and Decorating, which then led to the successful completion of a NZQA qualification in Painting and Decorating (Which included a strand of Interior Plastering and Wallpapering)

This lead me to begin full time work as a Painter and Decorator.

Fast forward - We moved to Australia, where I became a Qualified Trainer and Assessor and commenced work at a well-established College in Melbourne. I began teaching the 27 Unit Standards in Painting and Decorating with over 80 students across two campuses.

As seen in my photos, Gary (hubby) and I have been involved in minor renovations to fully transforming houses!

I have over 30 years’ experience and knowledge in DIY, and I enjoy sharing this with others.

I feel the only obstacle is the inner self doubt! That little voice that says…”You can’t do that”

I’m here to tell that little voice… If I can do this…You can too!!
